Isaac's Storm is one of the most compelling books I've ever read. The description of the strom as it hits is so suspenseful, I couldn't put it down. Even though it was about two years ago when I read it I still remember it and recommend it to people. In terms of Reader's Advisory, I do feel like some folks who like Suspense Fiction may also like some of these Natural Disaster titles because they will build up the story (with context, etc) until that moment when the disaster strikes and then you can't put it down, you have to find out what is going to happen. At least that is how I feel. :)
